Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Explores alternative therapies as complementary to the existing medical treatments. Course will look at the theories, clinical research, politics, cultural perspectives and controversies surrounding the use of complementary and alternative medicine. Students will evaluate the use of complementary and alternative medicines for healing and health maintenance within the social, political, and economic realities of our current health care system and society.
