Hours: Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week Prerequisite: BIOL 400 with a grade of C or better Description: Theory and application of molecular biotechnology to problems in medicine, agriculture, forensics, and the environment. The laboratory portion of this course emphasizes technical skills in DNA and RNA manipulation, trouble-shooting, experimental design, and data interpretation.
