NRS 301 - Introduction to Profes Nrs Lab
Description
Hours: Nine hours laboratory per week Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program Corequisite: NRS 300 and NRS 304 Description: This course provides the opportunity for the entry-level nursing student to apply assessment skills and basic therapeutic nursing interventions in the lab and clinical settings. Introduces program concepts of community, social justice, quality and safety, and professional nursing practice. The focus of this course is on student acquisition of introductory knowledge, skills, and attitudes utilizing a holistic approach to person-centered care.
