Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: PHYS 201 and MATH 350 Description: Survey of mathematical methods for physicists. Topics include matrices, linear algebra, eigenvectors and eignevalues, complex numbers and complex functions, elements of probability and Fourier analysis. Additional topics may include partial differential equations, special functions, and group theory.
