PSY 461 - Special Topics in Development

Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: PSY 213 or Consent of Instructor Corequisite: PSY 445 Description: Each semester, this course will provide a detailed examination of one major area of lifespan developmental psychology - the science of individual human development. The course emphasizes an understanding of the important methods, terms, theories, and findings in the field and is organized in a topical format, with in-depth examination of the predominant theories and major research findings in the field by topic area. As the topic changes, so will the specific learning outcomes.
