Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: Examines the Civil Rights Movement as part of a century-long movement for African American equality and liberation, including and linking peak movement activity (1955 to 1965) to antecedent and subsequent mobilization.
