Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: SOC 100, SOC 201, SOC 202, SOC 300, and SOC 305 (SOC 300 and/or SOC 305 may be taken concurrently) Description: Survey of the research designs and the basic data analysis techniques of quantitative and qualitative methods of research. Topics may include: survey research design, ethnography, in-depth interviewing, experimental research, secondary data analysis, and content analysis. Research ethics and related topics are also addressed. Formerly SOC 310, effective Fall 2021
