ECS 101 - Intro to Early Childhood Educ

Description

Hours: Two hours seminar and two hours activity per week An overview to the field of early childhood education paired with structured observational experiences in early childhood settings. Emphasis is placed on gaining an awareness of connections between disciplinary content knowledge about teaching and learning in early childhood. This course will provide students with the opportunity to explore career options for serving young children and families. Thirty hours of field experience in early childhood settings is required. Fingerprint clearance is required.
