Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: ECON 311 or ECON 320 Description: Macroeconomic analysis of the open economy, the impact of stabilization policies in a global economy, the role of the balance of payments, and the international monetary system. Topics include balance of payments accounts, spot-forward exchange rates, interest rate arbitrage, purchasing-power parity, exchange rate determination and macroeconomic policy in an open economy.
