Hours: Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week Prerequisites: BIOL 201 with a grade of C or better and CHEM 122 Description: An introduction to the structure, function and diversity of microorganisms. Explores topics including microbial identification, diversity, metabolism, pathology, microbial ecology, and the role of microbes in human society.
