Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: ANTH 102 Introduction to qualitative data collection and analysis in anthropology. Topics include research design, interviewing, participant observation, cross-verification of data, interactive data gathering, participatory learning, rapid rural appraisal, data interpretation, ethical and legal issues.
