Description
Hours: Three hours lecturer per week Prerequisite: Three units in Sociology Description: Explores cultural factors in defining health and illness, social determinants of well being, roles of health care professionals and alternative therapy providers, the comparative organization and delivery of health care in different regions of the world, and the development of medical sociology as a field of research.
