Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: Admission to the Computer Science or Mathematics Graduate Program Topics include: Techniques of Group Theory, Rings Fields, Modules, Galois Theory, Algebraic Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry, Techniques of Linear Algebra, Noncommutative Algebra, and Homological Algebra.
