ENGL 344 - World Drama and Theatre

Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Description: Explores world dramatic literature in performance and production. The focus is largely on plays and performance texts by non-Western authors, and is organized around one or more themes. This course is regional in organization rather than chronological. Texts studied feature the following regions: Asia, Oceania, South Asia & Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
