Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Descriptive introduction to the astronomical properties of the Solar System. Topics include: historical development of astronomy, and the laws that govern the behavior of the universe; evolution of the solar system; planetary sciences; planetary exploration; and greenhouse effect.
