Hours: Three hours seminar per week Prerequisite: Junior Standing Recommended: THTR 281 Description: Introduces research-based principles, techniques, and resources used by theatre and screen professionals. Research focuses on performance artifacts--from scripts or recordings to program pamphlets or posters--and their historical, social, cultural, and political contexts. Students apply select methodologies to create products typically required in stage and screen productions or graduate studies, such as actor packets, production books, study guides, lobby displays, original scripts, or critical essays.
