Description
Hours: Two hours lecture and two hours activity per week Description: Introduction to Geographic Information Systems and cartography. Emphasis on communicating spatial data through multiple mapping platforms and mobile applications. Focuses on the fundamentals of operating in a GIS environment and the diverse applications of GIS technology. Lectures integrate with hands-on activities using several major GIS software products.
