Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Description: Examines the visual arts and architecture of ancient cultures in Europe and the Mediterranean region. Using examples from Greek and Roman antiquity as well as other ancient cultures, this course explores the diversity of ancient art, placing works of art and architecture in their cultural contexts and reflecting on the roles of antiquity in the contemporary world.
