SOC 367 - Lgbtq Studies

Description

Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: SOC 100, SOC 201, and SOC 202 (SOC 201 and/or SOC 202 may be taken concurrently) Description: Provides an introductory exploration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) issues through lecture, presentation, activities, and/or discussion. Will focus on role of theory and evidence in drawing conclusions about LGBTQ communities, but particular topics relating to LGBTQ individuals will rotate, such that each semester will focus on different aspect of LGBTQ communities. Formerly SOC 309, effective Fall 2021.
