Description
Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: Graduate standing or permission of instructor Study of arrangements, patterns, designs, assignments, schedules, connections, and configurations. Existence problems, counting methods and optimization issues. Applications include graphs, networks, experimental design, coding theory, and combinatorial optimization.
