Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week
Description: This course examines the history, culture, and lived experiences of the Black & African Diaspora from slavery to the present through film. The films explore history, popular culture, gender, race, and class as these pertain to the Black & African Diaspora. Using interdisciplinary methods, students will interrogate the multiplicities of Blackness in Latin America from a transnational perspective.
