Description: Hours: Four hours lecture per week Prerequisite: MHA 500 Description: Examines the legal and ethical landscape in which healthcare professionals operate, as well as key issues facing administrators such as governance, care delivery and malpractice, contracts, fraud and abuse, and employee relations. The relevant laws and regulations will be analyzed. Explorations of ethical principles informing the legal and regulatory environment, and informing the professional conduct of administrators and other healthcare professionals.
