Description: Hours: Fours hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Successful completion of GE Area 2 - Mathematical Concepts and Quantitative Reasoning Description: Formulating and estimating mathematical models to explain the variations of an outcome of interest. Students will use differentiation and integration to derive statistical formulas and assess model significance. Students will use numerical methods to approximate functions, derivatives, and integrals.
