Description: Hours: Six hours activity per week
Prerequisites: Upper Division Standing or Consent of Instructor
Topics explore the creation of non-traditional public performances and displays of art, such as flash mob performances and guerilla art exhibitions. Projects focus on how to organize and advertise public performances, integrating aesthetic concepts and the use of emerging forms of artistic information dissemination, such as new media, social networking, mobile computing platforms, as well as traditional news and media outlets. Includes hands on experience in making and presenting public art and performance.
