Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: PSY 313 or consent of the instructor An overview of the works of Freud and neo-Freudian schools of thought. Emphasis on both structural and developmental models in psychoanalytic thought as applied to the individual and to society at large. Feminist and non-Western cultural interpretations of these theories will also be discussed.
