Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week
Prerequisite: Junior Standing or Consent of Instructor
Description: An interdisciplinary study of zoos and zoological gardens from scientific, managerial, business, recreational and educational perspectives. Analyzes how these perspectives are linked within zoo practices. The course will include an in-depth case study of a local zoo. Field trips to local zoos will be required.
