Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: Admission to Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies program Description: Development of an action research project in an early childhood setting. Analysis of various action research studies and research methods. Development and implementation of an action research study in a variety of settings relevant to early childhood. Selection of a research topic to generate questions to investigate, read and discuss studies related to the topic of interest, collect and analyze data, and report findings. Dissemination of work in consultation with their faculty advisor. Candidates must be advanced to candidacy and have a B average.
