Description: The second part of a two-part field experience series that provides students with the opportunity to gradually assume the responsibilities of a special education teacher in a public school, including: teaching; assessing students; IEP development; and collaborating with parents, teachers, and special services personnel. Equivalent to 8 weeks full time student teaching. Participatory observation and teaching in selected schools under the supervision of classroom teacher who is your Residency Mentor Teacher, with the support of your Residency Liaison.
