Description: Critical examination of Latina/o politics, including electoral and non-electoral political participation, social movements, and community organizing, and the Latina/o struggle against racial and class domination in the US. Includes the history of major Latina/o social movements, political thought and ideology, public policy and political issues, and strategies by which U.S. Latinas/os have struggled to achieve power and equity in the United States.
