These performing arts courses are unique in that they are co-taught by a music and a dance teacher; they encompass two learning domains, and they switch teachers, domains, and formats after seven weeks of instruction (at midterm) The Monday and Wednesday sections, PA 210-01 and 04, begin with dance and are fully synchronous for the first seven weeks. The Tuesday and Thursday sections, PA 210-02 and 03, begin with music and are blended for the first seven weeks. At midterm, the Tuesday and Thursday, 02 and 03 sections become fully synchronous and move into dance and the Monday and Wednesday sections, 01 and 04, become blended and move into music.
