Description: Hours: Fifteen hours field studies and one hour seminar per week Prerequisite: ECS 320, ECS 325, SPED 345/PSY 345 Corequisite: ECS 468, ECS 470 Description: Student teaching in preschool and early elementary school settings. Students practice assessment and instructional strategies with children ages 3 through 8 years.. Seminar is held in conjunction with the student teaching experience to serve as a forum for integrating research, theory, and recommended practices. Twenty-eight (28) days of student teaching required, typically 2 days per week. Fingerprint clearance is required.
