Description: Reviews the essentials of assessment, nursing diagnosis, goal setting, implementation and evaluation in multiple health deviations and across the life span. Assessment of the student's basic nursing knowledge will be performed using a standardized nursing examination practice tests. Clinical decision-making practice will be discussed through a variety of patient care situations and case scenarios with emphasis on the steps of the nursing process. Focus will be on test preparation and practice with NCLEX style questions.
