Prerequisite: Admission to MA in Special Education and Disabilities Study program
Description: Students in this course will gain an understanding of issues surrounding the transition to adulthood for individuals with disabilities. Students will demonstrate the ability to conduct person-family centered planning, formal and informal transition assessments, and evidence-based practices related to postsecondary education, employment, and community living. Emphasis will be placed on self-determination and culturally inclusive practices.
