Description: Hours: Three hours lecture per week Prerequisites: Art Major, Upper Division Standing Special topics explore a variety of themes investigating the relationships of art and artists to aspects of social commentary, multiculturalism, experimental genres, commerce, first amendment rights and the role of art in a global society. Topics are presented on a rotating basis. Students are given the opportunity to experience in-depth interaction with visiting artists, industry professionals, art scholars and academicians.
