Description: Hours: Two hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week Prerequisite: Introduces the principles and applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for environmental analysis and resource management. Students learn to collect, manage, analyze, and display spatial data using ArcGIS Pro. Emphasis is placed on spatial reasoning, map design, and the ethical use of geospatial technology. Through hands-on exercises and real-world environmental examples, students apply scientific methods to interpret and explain geographic patterns and natural phenomena.
