  • Ay Chihuahua! is a heartwarming bilingual musical about a young man with a bright future named Poncho who sets out on a journey to the U.S. after the death of his father. Soon he gets stranded and discovers that the City of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua celebrates three distinct cultures - European (German), Mestizo (Spanish), and the indigenous Raramuris. Poncho also finds romance and a new hope is born. For this production, we are seeking students of all ethnicities and experience levels to perform or work behind the scenes alongside professionals on this engaging production slated to tour a variety of Ventura County venues this fall. Look for auditions and interviews in May and August, and feel free to contact the instructor, playwright, and director at miguel.Orozco@csuci.edu, or just enroll today!
