Description: Presents an overview of endangered species and critical habitat management. The implications of small populations will be examined from a genetic and evolutionary perspective. This will include case studies of endangered and threatened taxa. Local and global issues pertaining to the conservation of biodiversity, including the assessment of threats and protection strategies, will be discussed.
