Description: Analyzes processes of globalization and development, and interconnections between them. Will examine range of theoretical perspectives (Neoclassical Economic Theory, World-Systems Theory, etc.), and introduce students to empirical research investigating how global processes (trade, migration, etc.) impact developmental outcomes (GDP, income inequality, etc.) in range of countries. May not be repeated for credit in Sociology, B.A. Formerly SOC 448, effective Fall 2021
