Biography
Stephen Clark has lived in Spain and has traveled to many countries in Latin America. He has published literary criticism, translations, interviews of major Cuban writers, and book reviews. Some of his favorite courses to teach include Civilizations and Cultures of Latin America, Film of the Hispanic World, and Service-Learning Capstone in Spanish.
Prior to joining CSUCI, Stephen taught Spanish at Northern Arizona University, Indiana State University, Verde Valley School (Sedona, AZ), and St. Mary's College High School (Berkeley, CA).
In his free time, Stephen enjoys traveling to Spanish-speaking countries with his wife, Elma, taking long walks with Paloma (his bilingual Golden Retriever), and rooting for the Galloping Gaels of St. Mary's College.
