Dr. Dana Lee Baker (she/her/hers) joined the faculty of CSUCI in the fall of 2017. Prior to that she served on the faculties at Washington State University and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Baker teaches in the areas of Public Policy, Public Administration, Statistical Analysis, Trauma-Informed Community Response, Political Theory, and Disability Studies. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Baker is excited to return to California after leaving to pursue graduate studies in Texas in the late 1990s. She is the proud parent of a son and two daughters as well having served as a foster parent for 16 children. Her household also includes 3 poorly trained dogs. In her free time, Dr. Baker enjoys participating in Train for Autism, hanging out with her extended and chosen family, and coaching basketball (and, sometimes, soccer).
