Biography

Daniel is a Professor of Accounting. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy and Ph.D. from the Rutgers University. His research interests include Corporate Governance, Executive Compensation, Corporate Sustainability and Stakeholder Theory. Daniel published over 20 refereed journal articles and presented over 50 academic and professional papers. His publications appeared in many Journals include Advances in Management Accounting, Strategic Finance, Review of Accounting & Finance and Journal of Multinational Financial Management. Daniel currently teaches upper level accounting courses and has taught many courses in MBA and MSA (Master of Science in Accounting) programs. He earned his CPA and CMA (Certified Management Accountants) certificates.

Over the year Daniel served as a Department Chair and a Director of Research. He was recognized by many awards including University Teaching Award and Outstanding Research Award. As professional service, he served as an officer of Institute of Management Accountants and is a member of American Institute of CPAs over thirty years. He was awarded Outstanding Overseas Educator Award from the President of Korea.
