Biography
Dr. Beatrice de Oca is originally from Southern California where she graduated with a doctorate in Psychology from UCLA and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cal State Los Angeles. Her training in psychology is in the areas of learning, behavior and behavioral neuroscience. Her current research interests include the influence of anxiety on attention as well as physiological factors in anxiety and stress. Dr. de Oca enjoys teaching behavioral neuroscience, perception, learning and cognition. She especially enjoys collaborating with students on research.
