Biography

Kristen Linton is an expert is disability disparities. She has had over 40 peer-reviewed publications on ethnic, cultural, and sexual health disparities experienced among people with disabilities as well as a first-authored book, Disability, Intimacy, and Sexual Health: A Social Work Perspective published by NASW Press. Dr. Linton's education and practice experience is in social work. She researches interventions aimed at reducing hospital readmission and improving mental and physical health among survivors of brain injury and their caregivers. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Center of Ventura County. Dr. Linton is also research faculty for the residency program at Community Memorial Hospital where she conducts data analyses for physician residents' research.
