Biography
Dr. Virgil H. Adams III is a native Californian and he joins the CSUCI family after spending several years at the University of Kansas where he held a joint appointment as Assistant Professor of Psychology and Assistant Research Scientist of Gerontology. An award-winning instructor, Dr. Adams’ is a social psychologist with research interests that focus on the hope, quality of life, and intergroup relations, with an emphasis on special populations. An alumnus of California State University with a B.A. degree in Psychology from CSU, Fresno. His graduate work was completed at the University of California Santa Cruz where he earned both a Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology.
