Biography
Jesse Elliott received a PhD in Mathematics in 2003 from the University of California, Berkeley. He received a BS in Mathematics in 1995 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His area of research is in commutative algebra and number theory. He also enjoys studying physics and philosophy. His hobbies include writing, travelling, playing classical piano, experiencing nature, weight training, and meditation. He is originally from Massachusetts, and his favorite month of the year is October.
