1. lamusʰuwaqni’ił, 'he can’t hear it' ; 'he can’t understand what he’s saying.'
2. no ’an muksuwaqni’ił, 'I do not talk loud or so none can hear me because something is the matter wth my vocal chords' (said by man who talks faint).
3. lamusʰuwaqni’ił ’isoxokonono loka’aluš’eš, 'the badger snores very faintly.'
4. tsaqtsum lokamakał, musʰuwaqni’ił, 'when the bat chrips, one can barely hear it.'
5. tsaqʰts̓um k̓ùwe tsqeyepì; musʰuwaqʰni’ìł mukiyitàqʰ, 'it [the bat] chirps and it is very weak; it is not clearly audible, we do not hear it.'
