Dr. Gaye Theresa Johnson will be speaking to the Chicana/o Theory seminar class about her book, Spaces of Conflict, Sounds of Solidarity: Music, Race, and Spatial Entitlement. CI students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to attend. This event is made possible by Arts & Sciences, Chicana/o Studies, History, and Project ISLAS.

Dr. Gaye Theresa Johnson is Associate Professor of Black Studies with affiliations in Chicana/o Studies and History at University of California, Santa Barbara.
