Stacey Stanfield Anderson holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from the University of San Diego, an M.A. in English from Loyola Marymount University, and a Ph.D. in English from Claremont Graduate University.
Prior to joining CSUCI's Composition Program in the fall of 2005, Dr. Anderson completed a three-year teaching fellowship with Stanford University's Program in Writing and Rhetoric. During her fellowship, she was a key participant in the Stanford Community Writing Project.
All told, Dr. Anderson has taught writing for almost two decades at both two- and four-year institutions, including El Camino College, LMU, and Stanford.
Here at CI, Dr. Anderson is a full time lecturer in the Composition Program. She also coordinates the program. She is happy to field any and all questions about First Year Writing at CI.
